Finally, once we have secured tenancy

Follow our 3 step guide for Landlords who have secured a tenancy
  • Step 1

    Secured Tenancy

Tenant will arrive to our office and provide the following:

Firstly, completion of Midas application form and they will provide proof of identification and also two references

We at Midas will then check that referees are genuine. Once this is carried out we will then arrange the following on your behalf.

  • Step 2

    Secured Tenancy

Tenancy Agreements & Register with Tenancy Deposit Scheme

A Tenancy Agreement will then be drawn up between Midas (on your behalf) and the tenant that will occupy the property. Standard tenancies start from one year and up to five years depending on your requirements with the length of lease.

As Of 1st April 2013 in Northern Ireland, its compulsory to have tenants deposit secured with a third party. We have taken then necessary steps to help protect our landlords & Tenants through being affiliated with TDS Northern Ireland.

NOTE: Once contract is signed the tenant will be provided with their copy and we will also hold a copy on file at our office If the property is "let only" you will be provide with all documentation that is linked to the tenant and you will then be responsible for the management of the property.

  • Step 3

    Secured Tenancy

    Exchanging of keys

Once we have evaluated and taken photographs of your property we will then list your property with Midas. In doing so the following steps have been put in place to ensure that your property will be advertised to gain a wide captive audience.

On the signing of the Tenancy Agreement the tenant will pay a security deposit and one months rent in advance before keys are handed over. Once all is completed and monies received the tenant will then be provided with receipts of all payments and keys to their new property.

NOTE: If the property is managed by Midas, we will hold a key for insurance purposes.
