  • Step 2

    The lettings process

Arrange an appointment for your property appraisal

One of our experienced negotiators will meet you at your property. In addition, if this does not suit you can also leave keys into the office and a member of staff can go to the property.

  • Step 3

    The lettings process

    Register your property for rent

Once we have evaluated and taken photographs of your property we will then list your property with Midas. In doing so the following steps have been put in place to ensure that your property will be advertised to gain a wide captive audience.

Brochure and window card: A copy of which will be sent to yourself for reference and possible tenants will also be given one on request of viewing.

www.midaslettingagents.com: We will update our web with your property details, requirements and also add in photographs, so therefore possible tenants with web access can view your property online.

www.propertypal.com: We will update Property pal with your property details, requirements and also add in photographs, so therefore possible tenants with web access can view your property online.

Social Media: We advertise all our recently added properties through all social media outlets

Signage: We will erect a "to let" sign board at the property, once we have the property let, we then will erect a "Let Agreed" sign. All within the local planning restrictions.

Contracts: Finally, once the above has been completed we will then draw up a contract between yourself and Midas regarding the property listed, requirements and fees.

  • Step 4

    The lettings process

    Finding a suitable tenant

Having access to your property is essential at this time, as the property market moves quickly and possible tenants will want to view, it would be best practice that a key for the property be left with Midas. We will not take any client to your property without consulting with you first unless told otherwise.

Once we have found a suitable tenant the following will be put in place to ensure that the best reliable tenant is allocated your property. You as the landlord will also have the right to meet and cross reference the possible tenant if necessary.

    References

All proposed tenants will be asked to complete an application for tenancy, produce proof of address a and either a passport, national ID card or driving licence and provide references immediately, these can be from previous landlord, bank, employee and/or character references.

NOTE: Your property will also be listed with other online property portals. All of which will significantly increase traffic to your property.

IMPORTANT: If you have any questions or problems please ask Midas Letting Agents for assistance.
